My first and only ‘desk job’ in London was working in the marketing team at St Martin-in-the-Fields, which gave me access to the many cultural, artistic, community and religious events that make up the life of this landmark building on Trafalgar Square. It allowed me to build up my knowledge and confidence behind the camera, and it was whilst photographing their Chamber Music Competition that I realised I wanted to specialise in photographing the arts and music. They continued to ask me back after I went freelance, so the images here are drawn from across over a decade of collaboration.
